I believe it is important to use a comprehensive approach to educate, support, and treat patients and families through their cancer journey. My goal is to help patients achieve optimal health and improve their quality of life at diagnosis, during treatment and ongoing into survivorship.
Dr. Carrie Lopez, D.N.P., is an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to supporting patients through every stage of their cancer journey. With a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, Carrie brings both expertise and compassion to her clinical work.
Her areas of interest include cancer treatment, supportive care, pain and symptom management, and survivorship care. Carrie also has a special focus on health promotion through diet, exercise, and regular health screenings, and she offers guidance on managing health-related anxiety and depression.
Outside of her practice, Carrie and her husband love spending time with their nine children, traveling, attending sports events, and visiting family in Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, reading, exercising, and being with her church family.
