Cancer Care | Vision for a Healthier Tomorrow

In 2011, Onvida Health took the first step toward improving cancer care for our region. Over the next few years, Onvida Health and the community dreamed together, planning a vision for a healing space for patients. On July 25, 2014, the dream of Onvida Health Cancer Center became a reality. Not only did we open the doors to a new, state-of-the-art cancer facility, but we marked the beginning of comprehensive cancer care for our community members – the kind of care they deserve.

Over the last decade, the Yuma Regional Medical Center Cancer Center has expanded its vision and capabilities, providing cutting-edge cancer treatments and technology, the latest in research and clinical trials, and a compassionate care team that includes nationally recognized medical and radiation oncologists. The Center offers a full-spectrum of cancer care services concentrated in one location – focusing on the entire patient journey – mind, body and spirit.

YRMC has demonstrated its commitment to top-notch cancer care by implementing many innovative advancements. We acknowledge, however, that our success belongs to our entire community. Without partnerships with medical professionals, community organizations, patients and families, these successes would not be possible. With plenty more to come, we look back with pride on our major milestones and the positive impact they have had on our friends and neighbors.
