Visitor Hours and Policy
Please note: Children under the age of 5 must be approved by the patient’s clinical team. Individuals under the age of 16 may not be left unattended without adult supervision. We thank you for your cooperation during this time.
Visitation is limited, so we can continue fostering a safe and secure environment for our patients and healthcare workers. Visitors can be family, friends, or anyone of the patient’s choice regardless of their relationship. After-Hours/Overnight visitation is allowed, typically for one designated support person. Patients may have visitors between 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. We ask visitors to help us observe quiet time or afternoon rest between 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. This encourages our patients to rest.
In ambulatory and outpatient care settings, patients may have one companion per visit. Of course, we want to accommodate patients with special circumstances, so we consider exceptions.
Visitors to the hospital are no longer be required to wear a mask, unless they are visiting a patient with a respiratory or other communicable illness. With this change, we are also asking individuals to refrain from visiting the hospital if they are experiencing fever, cough, aches and pains, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, runny or stuffy nose or flu-like symptoms. Visitors testing positive for respiratory illness, influenza or COVID-19 must refrain from visiting patients for 10 days from first symptoms. We encourage individuals to continue masking based on their personal preference and knowledge of their own health conditions.
Our website also makes it easy to send Cheer Cards to patients to brighten their day. You can send a Cheer Card to a specific patient or an anonymous patient in need. To send a card to the latter, simply fill out “Any Patient” in the name field.
