Biography

Bharat Magu, M.D. serves Onvida Health as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Magu brings an extensive background in health care to Onvida Health, having served as both a medical provider and in leadership positions.

He has more than ten years of experience practicing medicine in the Yuma community. At Onvida Health, Dr. Magu designed and implemented the internal medicine curriculum for the Onvida Health Family and Community Medicine Residency Program and has initiated faculty development for hospitalist group physicians.

Dr. Magu graduated from Gajra Raja Medical College in Gwalior, India and completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College in Mount Vernon, New York. In addition, he earned a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Southern California and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
