Our psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and professional counselors are specially trained to diagnose, manage and treat various behavioral health issues. Regional Medical Center offers a wide array of behavioral health services, including medication therapy, psychotherapy and an intensive outpatient program.
Onvida Health’s Intensive Outpatient Program is a structured psychological treatment program that takes place on an outpatient basis. The Intensive Outpatient Program consists of at least 3-hour sessions offered three days a week provided by a team of highly qualified professionals. This program is intended for adults 18 and older who need more mental health support than weekly therapy and might be experiencing:
- Anxiety, depression, other mood disorders
- Chronic stress or trauma
- Family conflict
- Relapse prevention post recovery
- Difficulty meeting home, school and social expectations

Your provider may recommend medications that can aid in managing your diagnosis.
Also known as talk therapy or counseling, specialized psychotherapy has proven successful in helping people cope and overcome emotional and psychological challenges impacting daily life. We may prescribe or give you a referral to therapy or counseling.

For all New and established patients: Due to the serious nature of discussions and sensitive subject matter that might occur during clinic visits with behavioral health providers, we strongly advise against bringing children under the age of nine to these clinic appointments unless they are infants or accompanied by an adult family member who can supervise them in the clinic lobby.
