How to Make a Gift of Stock
1. Initiate the Transfer.
Securities can be gifted to the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center (“the Foundation”) via electronic transfer. You must contact your broker to initiate the transfer. If you hold the stock in certificate form, or if you would like to transfer shares of mutual funds, please contact us at 928-336-7045 for detailed transfer instructions.
2. Send the Securities to the Foundation.
Ask your broker to donate through the Foundation’s account at Wells Fargo. The following information will assist you and your broker in making the transfer:

3. Inform the Foundation of the Gift.
To assist us in processing your gift and sending a tax receipt, it is important that you notify the Foundation and provide the following information by email or U.S. mail:

The Foundation’s Legacy Society of Planned Giving honors your visionary contribution to advance our mission of supporting a healthy community through philanthropy and ensuring that our vision of healing for today, educating for tomorrow, and preparing for the future will endure for many generations to come. There are several ways to participate in our Legacy Society of Planned Giving, including:
- A charitable bequest through your will. You may choose a gift of cash, securities, property or other owned assets. If you already have a will, you can contact your attorney to add a codicil reflecting your intention to make a charitable bequest.
- A gift of tangible personal property that you own, including real estate, artwork, collectibles or vehicles.
- Designation of the Foundation as a beneficiary. Name the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center as a beneficiary of a trust, your retirement plan, life insurance policy or commercial annuity.

The annual Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center golf tournament is a longstanding, community-acclaimed event hosted at Desert Hills Golf Course. Proceeds from this event provide support for a variety of the Foundation’s initiatives, including our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), scholarships and more. We welcome and applaud the many volunteers who help make this event possible.
