Education & Professional Highlights

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Kravitz has been practicing podiatric medicine and surgery in Yuma, Arizona since 1996. Prior to choosing Yuma, he attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He also completed a multi-year podiatric surgical residency program in Hoboken, New Jersey where he received training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including: Foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, arthroscopy, laser surgery, sports medicine and management of diabetic foot infections.

Dr. Kravitz is dual board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association, and the Yuma County Medical Society.

Dr. Kravitz is affiliated with Onvida Health and he takes great pride in having become the first Podiatric Surgeon with surgical privileges at Y.R.M.C. Dr. Kravitz is certified in Total Ankle Replacement Surgery. He often gets asked, ­Why feet? “As a child I saw the podiatrist regularly for a number of problems. I learned at an early age that when the feet hurt, the whole body hurts.”

He lives in Yuma with his wife Jacqueline, daughter Jillian, son Cooper and two dogs. Time permitting, he enjoys travelling, music, sports and cooking.
