ALERTS Pivotal Study-California Clinical Research Foundation. The study is a Phase II Pivotal US trial for the AngelMed Guardian implantable cardiac monitor and alert system. Designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an implantable device to detect MI, reduce patient time to the ER, and improve survival rates following an MI in high-risk patients. Investigation of ipsilateral ruptures of the anterior cruciate ligament and patellar tendon. Case report study discussing how surgical repair of the anterior cruciate ligament and patellar tendon can be complicated by different rehabilitation regimens.
