Navaneeth Kumar, M.D. was born and raised in India where he completed medical school at Stanley Medical College. He worked as a junior doctor in the ICU and cardiothoracic surgery departments at Billroth Hospital in Chennai before he pursued residency training in the United States. Dr. Kumar underwent two years of general surgery residency at the University of Arizona before deciding to switch to family medicine. He completed the Family and Community Medicine Residency here at Onvida Health.
After completing his residency, Dr. Kumar joined the Onvida Health Family Medicine Residency Program as a faculty member and practiced as a hospitalist. He now practices family medicine at Onvida Health Family Medicine Center. In his free time he enjoys sports, movies and books.
